Facing everyone's criticism, Rosa was terrified.

She'd never been in such a situation. Her body started trembling uncontrollably.

Henry's hand gently caressed her, telling her not to be afraid.

"Mr. Baker, everyone already knew. You don't have to act all high and mighty!"

Who would've thought about their own daughter in this arranged marriage?

For the most part, it was for business.

Now he was acting as if he cared about his daughter's feelings, making a joke out of himself.

"Henry, if you insist on marrying that woman, Baker family will definitely not let you off easily!" Mr. Baker said fiercely at this moment.

The man narrowed his eyes in a threatening manner and raised his voice slightly as he said, "Mr. Baker, if you insist on objecting to this marriage, I don't mind going against you. We'll see who wins!"

"Henry, what are you saying!" Mrs. Lewis scolded him loudly.

"Mom, I'm happy to introduce you to your daughter-in-law, Rosa!" After saying that, he looked at Rosa and smiled lovingly. "Good girl. She's your mother-in-law."

Mrs. Lewis' face had already darkened. Then, she looked at the crowd and said, "I'm sorry everyone, today's banquet will end earlier than planned. We'll make it up to you all next time!"

Although everyone still wished to stay and gossip...

None of them had the courage to do so.

"Let's go!" Leonardo said to Neil.

Neil frowned and said, "What are you doing? The show is still on. Go where? I'm not going anywhere!"

Mrs. Lewis looked at Neil and said, "Mr. White, please head back. Henry will make it up to you next time!"

Leonardo quickly tugged on Neil's hand to shut him up.

Paige on the other hand was already in tears.

She wasn't doing this for show. It was her real tears.

She had loved him for so many years.

She had accompanied him for so many years.

He had never looked at her with such gentle eyes, and yet he was looking at that woman ever so gently. 

"There, there, Paige. Auntie will help you." Mrs. Lewis hurriedly held Paige's hand to comfort her.

Although Mr. and Mrs. Baker did not speak, their gazes were filled with resentment.

But obviously, they did not want to fall out with each other.

"Henry, I don't care what you do, but I will not compromise anyone else other than Paige to be my daughter-in-law!"

Hearing this, Rosa bit her lips and her face turned pale.

Mrs. Lewis's face darkened as she said, "What are you talking about? Paige is such a nice girl. She is a perfect match for you."

But what happened today had crossed the line. He had to stop him.

"Fooling around? I was only asking, what's so bad about her?" His tone also became gloomy.

"Stop it!" Rosa tugged on his waist, and her eyes had teared up.

"Where did she come from? What does her parents do? She seems to be about the same age as Miranda. Could it be that she is a college student?" Mrs. Lewis sneered and said, "Ha! College students nowadays really would do anything to climb the social ladder."

Rosa bit her lip, feeling extremely uncomfortable.

"Let me tell you, no matter how you seduced my son, don't ever dream of marrying into our family!" Mrs. Lewis threatened her in front of the Bakers.

"Mrs. Lewis..." Paige choked in between sobs.

"Don't worry. I'm here. My daughter-in-law's last name can only be Baker!" 

"Henry, don't upset your mother. If you stop now, the Bakers will take it as a joke. Let's go!" Mr. Lewis hurriedly said, giving Henry another chance.

"Mother, father, I didn't bring her here today to get your approval. I'm just informing you!" He said in a low voice, clear and in an orderly manner.

"Henry!" Mrs. Lewis was furious.

"Henry, stop talking. We can talk about it later at night!" Asher immediately went forwards and pulled on his clothes as she said. 

"Sister, I remember you said that you'll bring the biggest gift when I get married. You can start preparing now!" He laughed, determined to get what he want.

Asher's hand froze in place.

Geoffrey immediately went forward and pulled his wife aside. He frowned and said in a soft voice, "Don't you know what Henry is like? Would he do this if he wasn't confident?" 

"We won't approve!" Mrs. Lewis said hurriedly.

"I'm the one who's getting married. I don't need your permission!" He laughed coldly.

Her anger didn't stop her there. She tore it apart once again in her hands.

"Let me tell you, I won't approve her as my daughter-in-law. She could only dream of entering our family!"

"She's already my wife. There's no need for her to enter the Lewis' family!"

After saying that, he chuckled and said, "Also, mother, thank you for tearing up the marriage certificate. I have no intentions to have a divorce anyway. How nice of you to tear it apart for me!"

Mrs. Lewis was so angry that she couldn't breathe.

"How are you so selfish?" she roared at her son.

Henry narrowed his eyes and sneered as he said, "Me? Selfish? I entered the Lewis' when I was 23. I've achieved so much for our company, raising it from the bottom. Shouldn't you know how much I sacrificed?

Mrs. Lewis was shocked speechless.

"Brother didn't like handling the unethical side of the business world. I handled these matters for all these years for our company to achieve such glory. You should know better than anyone else how much effort I've put into this. And now you want me to give up my own happiness just for some benefit? Ha! I'm sorry, but I can't do it!"

Mr. Lewis was also very angry, but he couldn't refute his statement.

Because what he said was the truth. The Lewis family could have their current status is all because of Henry. 

The next second, Henry didn't want to waste another second talking. He immediately lead Rosa down the stage.

"Henry!" Mr. and Mrs. Baker shouted, "You can't treat Paige like that!"

However, he ignored them and just left.

Neil smacked his lips as he said, "Sheesh, I realised that I'm admiring him more and more. He's so cool!"

Leonardo smirked. "He's still as bold as before!" He thought.

Miranda stood upstairs, still in a daze.

Rosa... is now her... aunt?!

Cecil smiled slightly. He fulfilled his promise and did not let his sister be known as a mistress.

He went out of the door and got in the car.

Rosa had not yet realized what had just happened.

"Why are you in a daze?" He reached out and pinched her nose.

Denny saw the man's satisfied smile through the rearview mirror and could not help but feel happy for him.

Rosa grabbed his hand and asked with a frown, "When did you get the marriage certificate? Why didn't I know?"

Why didn't she remember the photo at all?

Could it be photoshopped?

"Good girl, smile for the graduation photo." He smiled and leaned over to whisper in her ear.

Rosa was stunned and widened her eyes in shock. "That wasn't... a dream?"

"We've got our marriage certificate, but there's another very important thing that we haven't done. We'll do it now, okay?" His warm breath tickled her ear as he whispered.

"What is it?" She was confused.

"You'll know in a while!" He hugged her and said in a satisfied voice, "From now on, you're my wife!"
