The door to Felix's office wasn't even fully closed. It had been left half-open, and the sounds of a video game being played came from inside.
Angela knocked twice, but Felix didn't respond. So, she simply pushed the door open and walked in.
"Mr. Rosewell, it's time for the meeting," she stated.
Felix glanced at her impatiently but didn't say a word. He continued playing his game, fully immersed in it.
Angela took out her phone, snapped a picture, and sent it to the company's group chat. Almost instantly, notifications flooded Felix's work phone.
Felix was peeved and retaliated immediately. "What the hell are you doing? Do you really think you're in charge here?"
"If you don't take me seriously, then I'll have to take myself seriously," Angela said calmly. Then, she repeated monotonously, "Mr. Rosewell, it's time for the meeting."
"Who the hell do you think you are, trying to tell me what to do? I already looked into you—you're nothing more than some woman Dexter married on a whim. What's so special about you? Do you think you can boss me around?"
Felix let out a cold, dismissive snort. He didn't feel the least bit threatened by her.
Angela remained unfazed. After a brief pause, she pulled out her phone and played a recording.
That finally made Felix snap. He stood up abruptly and shouted, "What the hell do you want?"
"Go to the meeting. Or I'll send this recording to the group chat and let everyone hear what kind of person you really are," Angela said, still smiling, but her eyes were frosty.
Felix's face turned an ugly shade of purple. He shot her a furious glare, kicked the couch hard, and then shouted toward the adjacent office, "Get to the damn meeting!"
"How did you do that, Ms. Graham?" David asked as he walked in, looking completely stunned.
Angela waved her phone with a playful smile. "You just have to be more shameless than him."
