Clara was also quite beautiful, but it was obvious from her face that she’d had some work done. Her face looked slightly stiff when she smiled. 

Angela had overheard Vanessa talking about her. 

In a design department full of people with high–level degrees from prestigious design schools, Clara stood out. 

She was a self–taught designer, discovered by Callum thanks to her incredible talent, which made her somewhat like Angela in that sense. 

The next day, after work, Nora brought two outfits for Angela and Clara. 

Angela’s was a fitted professional suit that hugged her curves, making her chest and hips. appear fuller. The outfit was paired with a pair of silver–pointed heels that gave her a look that was both sleek and striking. 

Clara’s outfit was similar, though her chest was even more exposed than Angela’s. 

“Does this look okay?” Angela asked, frowning 

Clara stretched out her arm, and the bottom of her top immediately rode up, revealing a strip of her waist. 

“It’s a little tight, but I can deal with it.” She shrugged. “This is how it goes, Angela. Only the pretty girls in our design department get to go with Ms. Rutherford to these kinds of events. The others aren’t even considered.. 

“Don’t worry. Business events are all just for show. No one’s really serious. You don’t have experience yet, but I’ll have your back.” 

“Is there a reward for landing the contract?” Angela was more interested in that. 

Clara nodded. “It’s very likely. If you help her land this deal, you might not have to do all the menial work anymore.” 

Angela thought it over for a moment before nodding in agreement. 

Soon, Nora led them to the pre–arranged venue. 

The executives from Golden Hood Entertainment were late by about ten minutes. 

They initially walked in with a certain swagger, but as soon as they saw the ladies in the private room, their eyes lit up. 

The leader of the group, a fat man named Dave Hood, was the one they needed to impress. His name sounded decent enough, but his appearance was less than flattering. 

“Hey, who are these two beauties?” Dave’s eyes immediately landed on Angela. His gaze lingered on her for quite some time. 

Nora introduced them. 

“Nice to meet you, Mr. Hood,” Angela greeted with a friendly smile. When she smiled, she looked innocent, beautiful, and otherworldly. 

Dave’s eyes nearly popped out, and he gave Nota a subtle look. She understood immediately. 

During the meeting, Angela was force–fed drink after drink. Luckily, Clara was by her side, helping to take some of the load off. Otherwise, she would’ve been on the verge of throwing up by the end of the night.
