Clara was quick, and within minutes, she used shorthand software to record the names of over 20 people. 

“Stephanie Jones, Kenny Hall, Irene Glover… Many of you graduated from prestigious art schools with advanced degrees and likely have experience in numerous competitions. 

“In addition to preparing for the contest, I’ll need you to help boost morale and ease everyone’s nerves,” Angela said, assigning tasks based on the list Clara had provided and the team’s résumés. 

Her pace was brisk, and in mere minutes, she had outlined what each person would be working on over the next two weeks. 

Nora was dumbfounded. 

This was way too fast. They hadn’t even fully packed up to leave yet. 

“Alright, get moving now! We’re short on hands, so each of you is a vital asset. Let’s make the most of our time. If we finish by 11:30 am, we can all go grab lunch,” Angela. announced, glancing at her watch and issuing another directive. 

The company cafeteria served excellent food that was better than most restaurants. At lunchtime, it was packed, and popular dishes often ran out quickly. If they could get there 30 minutes early, they would have first pick. 

“Let’s go, let’s go!” Alan Walter, one of the members of division one, was the first to spring into action. 

He had just graduated this year and was full of energy. The moment he realized Angela was a capable leader, he was ready to follow her. 

“I’ll gather information on previous competitions,” one person offered. 

“I’ll look for ideas online,” another added. 

“I’m finally going to get that delicious spaghetti at lunch! It’s always sold out before I get there!” an eager intern exclaimed. 

Within moments, everyone jumped into action 

Meanwhile, those who had been talking about leaving had yet to move. 

Angela was surprised. 

“Anything else?” she asked, heading out toward the executive office on the top floor. 

One employee approached Angela and said awkwardly, “Ms. Graham, I just realized I haven’t been assigned a task yet.”

Before Angela could respond, Nora broke her composure. 

“George! Robert! What are you two doing?” Nora asked as she stormed toward them. 

George Stein looked uncomfortable. “Ms. Rutherford, I think I’ll stay in division one. I’m more accustomed to it here.” 

Robert Young stayed silent but made his stance equally clear.
