Chapter 71 

Upon hearing the news, Angela’s frustration intensified further. 

She stood up abruptly and rushed to the nursing room. 

“There’s no point in crying now, Celine! The data is all gone, and you were the only one here just now. How do you expect me to believe you?” Nora stood at the door of the nursing room in a commanding stance. 

“It wasn’t me! I was just here to feed my baby. My baby is still crying right now. I don’t have the time or intention to touch your laptop. You’re accusing me for no reason!” 

Celine Howe, an employee at DawnStar Design, had gotten married last year and given birth a few months ago. Due to her family’s financial situation, she had chosen to breastfeed her baby. 

Earlier this afternoon, her mother–in–law had brought her baby over for feeding. However, a few minutes after she entered the nursing room, the door was kicked open, and Nora came barging in. 

She took a brief glance at her laptop and immediately accused Celine of deleting her confidential files. 

“I don’t care about your excuses! You’re the biggest suspect there is! You…” 

“What suspect?” 

Before Nora could finish her sentence, Angela walked in.

She quickly scanned the room and noticed that Celine’s clothes were rumpled with a damp spot on her chest area. 

Fury surged through Angela. She immediately took off her coat and draped it over Celine. Then, she turned to Nora and asked, “Nora, do you not know what this room is?” 

Nora was slightly taken aback. However, she didn’t back down. 

She replied coldly, “Division Two’s office is under renovation, so we don’t have any place to work. We’re just using this room for a day or two. What’s the problem? 

“I placed my laptop on the table before I left. No one else touchèd it. Yet, after she came in, all my data went missing. If she didn’t do it, who else could have?” 

“So, you admit to occupying the nursing room?” Angela paid no attention to her rambling 

and zeroed in on the main issue. 

Nora’s expression darkened. She was about to argue back but paused before snapping, There are hundreds of employees in the design department and only four or five pregnant employees.

“The others can all find time to breastfeed elsewhere, while she, on the other hand, insists on occupying this room! Isn’t she just intentionally disrupting us? She’s being selfish!” 

“Even if Celine was the only one in this company who needed to breastfeed, no one has the right to occupy this room. That’s your first mistake, Nora,” Angela replied firmly. 

Although her voice wasn’t loud, each word was strong and clear, and everyone around them could hear it. 

“Your second mistake is entering the nursing room without knocking, violating another female employee’s privacy, acting disrespectfully, and targeting her unfairly. 

“Lastly, your third mistake is that you blindly accused someone of tampering with your files without any proper evidence and spreading rumors that could ruin their reputation.”
