“None? Really?” Emmanuel confirmed once again. 

“None!” Mackenzie responded, trying to appear composed. 

At this moment, she was no longer the Icy Female CEO, but a wife afraid of her husband discovering 

the truth. 

“Alright, let’s go home!” Emmanuel also breathed a sigh of relief, started the car, and thought Rhea’s strategy had worked. 

There was no problem that a forceful kiss couldn’t solve! And if there was, they could do it twice! After all, it was all about making the heart race! Mackenzie shouldn’t suspect that he didn’t love her anymore, right?

Lara wasn’t his wife, so why should he care about what she thought?! 

Mackenzie, however, stared at him coldly and said, “But it does affect me! They are my family, and I hope you can gain their approval, understand?”

Mackenzie’s eyes turned icy in response. She knew Lara’s return would certainly stir things up, but she. didn’t expect it to involve the Heart of the Sun.
