Love at the Wrong Table (Emmanuel Lowe and Mackenzie) novel Chapter 1149

Chapter 1149 Shooting Way Above His League

“What?! I-”

“Wonderful! That settles it, then!” Roselynn didn’t give Tia a chance to hesitate. She decisively finalized the

decision.

Tia was speechless.

Since there was no room for resistance, and she didn’t want to continue living alone, Tia could only nod and say, “Thank you, Roselynn!”

“Hey, we’re sisters now. Drop the formalities.”

Done! Roselynn felt secretly pleased.

If Ryder wanted to marry Ruby, let him. If Ruby wanted to deceive her way into a house, let her. After all, the property wouldn’t be in Ruby’s name, and she could live there if she wanted. By then, when Ruby discovered that Tia was her next-door neighbor and if Ryder still had lingering feelings for Tia, she wondered how interesting the situation would be. Well, just thinking about it was amusing!

With the decision made, it was time to take action. The next morning, Roselynn arranged to meet up with Ryder, and they took a taxi together to the Cloud Bay residential area.

“Are you two married?” The middle-aged driver couldn’t help but ask curiously on the way.

“Sorry? No, no!” Ryder quickly waved his hand.

“Haha, are you going to buy a house then?” The driver continued the conversation.

“Yes…” Ryder quickly replied, looking like an honest fellow.

“The houses there are not cheap. It’s going to be your matrimonial home, isn’t it?” The driver continued to inquire.

“That’s right!” Ryder answered, always ready to respond, not caring that the driver was just a stranger with whom he hadn’t even exchanged names.

Throughout the journey, Roselynn was nonchalant, thinking that the driver was quite talkative. Given Ryder’s polite and honest nature, they could chat about anything. Little did she know that when they got out of the car, the driver took the opportunity to approach Roselynn and kindly warned her, “Hey, sweetheart, with your looks, it’d be a shame if you married him.”

What are you talking about?” Roselynn immediately furrowed her brow. No wonder the driver had chatted so much with Ryder earlier. It turned out he had ulterior motives.

“I’m just reminding you. Many men use the excuse of buying a house to deceive beautiful women! This kind of old and ugly man, if he deceives you, what are you going to do with him? I also have a house, and I’m in good shape-”

“Get lost!” Roselynn didn’t let him finish. She exploded, and the driver retreated several steps, scrambling away.

“Get lost!” Roselynn didn’t let him finish. She exploded, and the driver retreated several steps, scrambling away.

Goodness me. This woman is pretty but fierce! No, no. She won’t do! The middle-aged driver quickly climbed into his car and drove away.

Passersby were a bit astonished. This woman is so fierce! But soon, someone recognized her as the ‘Demoness of Yeringham.’ No wonder she can put up a fight! All good, then

“I swear, you can find idiots everywhere!” Roselynn cursed and prepared to head to the real estate gallery with Ryder.

Ryder, however, looked embarrassed, lowered his head, and said self-consciously, “Roselynn, maybe I should check it out myself. If we go together, I’m afraid I’ll embarrass you. I’m too ugly!”

“Rydér, what are you talking about? I’m your cousin!” Roselynn not only refused his idea but even wanted to enter with their arms linked.
