Love at the Wrong Table (Emmanuel Lowe and Mackenzie) novel Chapter 1150

Chapter 1150 Seeing Abellyn Again

Ryder glanced at the young and attractive ladies who were welcoming everyone except him. Although he felt a bit uncomfortable, he didn’t become angry.

“Blame yourself for your unattractiveness, Ryder, Sigh…” After forcing a bitter smile, Ryder examined the properties alone, feeling somewhat lonely and desolate

Cloud Bay was a high end real estate development in Yeringham. The sales gallery was sophisticated, featuring a spacious lobby with 3D models and 360-degree video displays for each property. Therefore, Ryder didn’t need the assistance of the sales ladies, he could understand everything on his own.

As he entered a small duplex, he noticed a woman in a wine red silk dress also looking at the same property.

The woman had her back turned to him, so Ryder couldn’t see her face. However, he had a feeling of familiarity, but couldn’t recall where he had seen her before. Not skilled at starting conversations, he chose to stand behind the woman and observe the property. Unexpectedly, as the woman moved while looking at the model, her hip accidentally bumped into Ryder, who was equally inattentive.

Thump!

Her backside was soft, and Ryder was immediately aroused.

“Oh! Who?!” The woman quickly turned around, and upon seeing Ryder’s not-so-pleasant face, she froze, her eyes

widening. “Ryder?!”

“It’s you!” Ryder had initially planned to apologize, but upon seeing the woman, he changed his mind. After all, it

was Abellyn Sheppard.

He had to admit that she had become much more beautiful recently. And she had successfully lost weight, making

her figure look quite attractive. No wonder he couldn’t recognize her immediately from behind.

“Is everything okay, Ms. Sheppard?” A saleswoman in her thirties, holding a glass of water, approached. Her name

was Mildred Yule, and she had just been assisting Abellyn.

“Hmph, you came just in time. This pervert deliberately touched me inappropriately. Can you imagine how disgusting that was?! Quickly, tell the guards to teach him a lesson!” Abellyn pointed at Ryder with disdain, instructing Mildred to take action.

Since their divorce, Ryder had humiliated her in various ways, and she had long desired revenge. Little did she think that fate would bring him to her on this day!

“Abellyn, watch your language!” Ryder could tolerate other women, but he instantly became furious when it came to Abellyn. “You were the one who bumped into me. How could you twist the truth?! Besides, it’s not like I never touched you in the past. Do you need to behave like this?!”

“Huh, that was in the past! Now that you can’t have me, you can only secretly desire me. What? Have you regretted divorcing me? Do you think a lowly farmer like you can still have me? Huh, good luck!”

“You… That’s completely false!” Not as articulate as Abellyn, Ryder seethed with rage.

Meanwhile, Mildred quickly assessed Ryder and deduced that he was indeed a typical farmer, wearing a security guard jacket. She didn’t know where he was stationed, but one thing was certain: it certainly wasn’t their sales gallery,

“You, get out!” She immediately focused on Ryder, pointing towards the exit. “Our property doesn’t welcome people who come in just to enjoy the air conditioning and complimentary refreshments!”
