Regan smiled and led Severin’s group toward the gate, 

“That b*sard! I’m so pissed off right now! Is he saying that I’m going to fail?” Walbert stood rooted to the ground, clenching his fists and gritting his teeth as he watched Severin enter the room. 

“Don’t worry about him. He’s as good as dead.” 

Kroan snorted coldly, glanced outside, and said, “The people from the Skystream City Mansion aren’t here yet. Should we wait outside and tell them about the situation later?” 

“Sure. We would stand to benefit from establishing a good relationship with our mayor.” Walbert nodded and said with a faint smile, “Besides, their backer is a sect called the Stormy Moon Sect. They’re much stronger than other first-tier families, and even the province governor wouldn’t dare to offend them!” 

“Master!” Severin was just about to enter the door when a familiar voice called out to him. The person who came was none other than Benjamin, the son of South Link City Mansion’s mayor who had become an apprentice to Severin. 

“Haha, we wanted to come along with you, but when we went to your house, we realized that you had made your way here ahead of us and drove over.” Clave laughed, stepped forward, and greeted Severin respectfully. 

Severin smiled slightly and said, “I can’t help it. My wife and my mother-in-law wanted to see the scenery along the way, so we decided to drive and set off earlier.” 

“We took a flight, so I think we might not be able to head back together again.” Clave smiled. 

“It’s been a while since we last saw each other, Mister Clave!” Regan immediately smiled and nodded respectfully. 

After he finished speaking, he looked at Benjamin again and could not help but exclaim in envy, “You’re truly lucky to have been accepted as Mister Severin’s master. I firmly believe that you’ll accomplish many great things under our governor’s tutelage!”. 

“Thank you for your compliment, Mister Regan. I’ll definitely do my best and work hard. I’d be happy to achieve even one-tenth of his knowledge! That’s my only goal right now!” Benjamin smiled slightly and cupped his hands modestly.
