"I was so upset during the long and lonely night. Could you please stay with me?" While speaking, Edgar parked his car on the side of the road, and then he glanced at Maggie. The way he looked at her reminded Maggie of a hungry wolf that had suppressed its hunger for a long time. His eyes were full of lustful craving.
Maggie had always been a girl with bold ideas. However, when the time came to turn those ideas into practice, she would get cold feet and lose her nerve. This was one of those moments. When Maggie saw the burning desire in Edgar's eyes, she got so nervous that she couldn't help but swallow the lump that had gathered in her throat and instinctively back away from him. However, she didn't get far because soon she bumped up against the door of the car.
"Ha ha ha." Maggie laughed awkwardly pretending to joke in an attempt to relieve her tension. "Well, since you've undergone various psychological tests and training, I believe you will be able to get through this on your own. Well..." While she spoke to distract him, her hands scrambled around for the car door when she noticed Edgar getting closer to her. "I'm going back inside. Good-bye, Captain."
"Clunk, clunk, clunk..." Maggie tugged at the car door handle, but it wouldn't open. Confused, she looked at Edgar and saw that he was sitting straight in the seat again. With a serious expression, he said, "The Child Safety Lock has been activated. You can't unlock from your seat." After that, he started the car up again and drove into the underground parking lot. "I am running short on cash, and all of the bank checks from my account have bounced to Acid."
Maggie fell silent for a moment while Edgar drove, and then she continued, "You know, regular staff like me have very little disposable income. Our profession forbids us from having extra tips. Even with great effort, I have been barely able to save anything from my salary all these years. The next pay-check will be at the end of the month. I still have to wait for two more weeks. Besides, I'm still on my vacation, so I have no reason to come back to be a freeloader."
Edgar had parked the car and turned off the engine. He looked at Maggie and made a suggestion. "How about this? Why don't you take care of me for the rest of the month until I get my pay-check? I'm not very high-maintenance. I can survive on one meal per day. If necessary, just one meal every two days is also okay. In return..." He pretended to put on a serious expression as he looked at Maggie and then said, "I'll promise to marry you."
"Huh?" Maggie was so shocked by his words that she didn't know what to make of his abrupt proposal. She stared at Edgar with trembling lips. "That's impossible. What makes you think I can support you? I can barely support myself. I'm sorry, but agreeing to marry me is not going to be enough."
"Then what do you want?" Edgar asked with caution.
Maggie considered it seriously for a second, and then raised her chin to respond to his question. "It's simple. Serve me until I'm satisfied!"
Edgar didn't respond to her at once. Instead, he raised his eyebrows and looked at her skeptically. "Are you sure?"
"Absolutely!" Maggie replied with determination. With that, Maggie implied that he would have to do things like massaging her back, serving her tea, escorting her to places and so on. However, her request had been misinterpreted by Edgar. He assumed that she had meant it in a sexual way. Edgar immediately become aroused by what she said, and he added, "My queen, would you like your man to serve you until you're satisfied?"
Edgar's desire for Maggie had just doubled, and he could feel the fire burning for her in the pit of his stomach and he felt a stirring in his loins at the thought of it. One could not blame him for feeling this way as it was due to the natural difference of mindsets between men and women. Sometimes women didn't mean it when they expressed themselves, but men often interpreted it as a type of sexual invitation. Naturally, if the male and female were in a romantic relationship with each other, the man would definitely tend to take it the wrong way.
