Hertha stopped in her tracks.

Edna chuckled, "You weren't gonna make it. If I hadn't pulled some strings for you, do you really think you'd be standing here today?"

"Sure, go ahead and report me. I'm not stopping you. If I'm going down, you're coming with me. If I get expelled, you, the fake grad student who bribed their way in, will be right there with me. Sounds fair, doesn't it?"

Hertha was shaking with anger, "You wicked old witch!"

"Wicked?" Edna snorted, "Takes one to know one."

Without those extra credit projects, Hertha's semester grades were a disaster.

She flunked three courses, and her other classes barely hit the C range.

Her grades were laughably bad.

Even Slater, that lapdog, did better than her!

Whenever Beverley asked about her GPA, Hertha hemmed and hawed until she couldn't keep the truth hidden any longer.
