Love Has its Will by Selena Lewis novel Chapter 329

Chapter 329

In the ward.

Andrew stood at the bedside, glancing at the patient on the bed. After saying “Amen”, he closed his eyes and his mouth muttered a few words.

Lorena was in a trance. She had not eaten for many days. She was so skinny and her eyes were deeply sunken in. She looked a little horrible.

Lorena looked at the puritan in front of her. He had a well-outlined lace, and his thin checks were somewhat similar to someone in her memory.

Lorena narrowed her eyes slightly, her voice trembling as she said, “You are… Andrew!”

Andrew didn’t reply to her. He only said, “The past has already gone with the wind in my heart. Today, I was invited by Mr. Young to come here and treat you.”

Andrew opened his eyes and his faze fell on Lorena’s thin wrist.

Hestepped forward and bent down slightly. His trimmed fingertips gently landed on Lorena’s bulging wrist.

Lorena did not speak and just looked at Andrew quietly.

After a short while, Andrew stood up straight and took a step back Lorena looked at Andrew, who was half a step away from her and her pale lips weakly curved into a smile. “You have disappeared for so many years. I didn’t expect that…”

Lorena laughed. “You actually became a puritan and wasted all your skills.”

Andrew did not answer. He paused for half a second and slowly opened his mouth, “You don’t look very well. Your end is coming. You should let go of the past.”

What Andrew said somehow stimulated Lorena, and she suddenly became spirited. She opened her eyes and stared fiercely at Andrew. “Linda has been dead for so many years. Even if you become a puritan, you still can’t get over her. Shouldn’t puritans be disillusioned with the mortal world and stay away from women? Andrew, you advised me to let go of the past. What about you? Even if you become a puritan, what have you let go of? You are wearing puritan clothes, but Linda is always in your mind, right?”

Andrew was expressionless. He did not look at Lorena and said coldly, “Madam, neither can inoney nor resentment be brought into graves. They can only be left to the next generation and make them separate. Why do you have to do that?”

Lorena roared, “Andrew, why did you become a puritan? You and I know the reason very well. If it weren’t for Linda betraying you back then, you wouldn’t have been hurt by love and become a puritan. The two of you, for the sake of getting together with Linda, one became a puritan and the other lost his life. Linda was the root cause for the tragic life of you and Colten. Even if you can let go. I can’t.”

Listening to Lorena’s complaint, Andrew finally looked at her and sighed helplessly. “It has been so many years. Linda is dead, and so is your husband. Why are you still holding on to it?”

Loreasheered, “What makes you think I am still holding on to it?”

Andrew said, “You should be kind. The separation of the two young people sitting outside is all in your hands. Even if he is not your biological grandson, you don’t have to be so cold blooded. You have done so many wicked things, so you can’t live long, Ii’s not that I don’t want to save you.”
