Brandon was afraid that Mandel would have postoperative complications, so he stayed in the hospital until one in the morning. When Brandon returned to the Rose Villas, Savanna was asleep.

Brandon was afraid to wake Savanna up, so he went to another room to take a shower. After that, he quietly got to bed and lay down next to Savanna. After a while, he turned and held Savanna’s waist with his hands. Then he moved his body slowly toward her. Finally, he felt her warm and soft back. Brandon smiled with satisfaction.

For Brandon, he could only feel Savanna’s breath and her soul when he held her.

Brandon rested his chinon Savanna’s shoulder. He sinelled the fragrance of her hair. Then Brandon closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Savanna took a plate and washed it in the sink. Then she said, “Lizeth, make some oatmeal and send it to Mandellater.”

Savanna saw Lizeth look at her in surprise. She smiled and said. “Mandel has been with me for so long. In my heart, he is my son.”

When they put the food on the table, Brandon ran downstairs. He was in his robe and his hair was messy. He just woke up and looked anxious. When Brandon saw Savanna at the entrance of the kitchen, he paused and then smiled at her. Then he said, “I thought that you…”

When Brandon woke up, he didn’t see Savanna. He didn’t find her in the room and thought that Savanna was gone. Therefore, Brandon went downstairs anxiously.

Savanna looked down at Brandon’s feet. Brandon saw her eyes. He lowered his head and found that there was no shoe on one of his feet. He turned around and saw the slipper on the stairs. Before Brandon moved, Lizeth went to pick up the slipper and sent it to Brandon. “Mr. Cassel.”

“Thank you.”

It was the first time that Brandon had felt so embarrassed. His ears turned red. Lizeth noticed it and walked away immediately.

Savanna took a deep breathi and said, “Lizeth made your favorite pancakes. Come here and have breakfast.

Brandon said, “Wait for a second.” Then he quickly ran upstairs and changed his clothes.

Brandon felt very embarrassed about what happened just now.

He sat opposite Savanna. He drank milk and ate pancakes.
