Chapter 43
Brandon had sharp eyes and saw the license plate. He bought the car for her about half a year ago, and the license plate was chosen by her.
Brandon’s deep eyes flashed with a hint of sadness.
He was right. She was indeed trying to help Gordon.
She even asked his mother for help.
She could do anything for a man who she had only known for less than a month.
Cain, Leo, and Gordon…
Brandon smiled bitterly and sorrowfully.
She liked all men, except for him.
Brandon entered the living room, and Giselle came forward. “Did you meet Savanna?”
“No.”
Brandon was in a bad mood, so he replied briefly.
“I really don’t understand what you want to do. Her friend seems to be very important to her. She came to me just now and was in a daze. Brandon, why don’t you let Joshua help her?”
Joshua Mckinney was the top lawyer of the Cassel Group.
He could deal with all kinds of lawsuits.
Giselle could not bear to see Savanna suffer, so she wanted to help her daughter-in-law.
“Keep your hands off the matters about Savanna.” Brandon’s face was very cold. He pulled off the tie around his neck and walked upstairs. Suddenly, he thought of something. He stopped and turned around. He looked at Giselle with deep eyes and warned, “Otherwise, I will cut you off.”
Giselle shivered. She looked at her son’s tall back upstairs. Her lips trembled, and her face turned slightly pale
Even on the day when he brought Winnie’s ashes back, or when she chased Winnie out, Brandon didn’t talk to her like this.
Giselle felt the situation was a little serious.
Although she was sorry for Savanna, she was a little angry about Savanna’s decision of abortion.
She did not dare to meddle in the affairs between Savanna and Brandon.

Giselle hoped that they would make up.
Savanna had just returned home when Leo called her. Leo told her that a lawyer was willing to take over Gordon’s case. Savanna and Leo were excited. Savanna asked Leo to come over and talk. Ten minutes later, Leo appeared.
They talked in the hall for a while, and Leo’s phone rang. He walked to the balcony after he answered the phone.
Savanna went to the kitchen to prepare a plate of strawberries. When she returned, she saw that Leo had already finished the call. His face was gloomy. She frowned and asked.
“Who called you?”
“The lawyer said that he was too busy to take over Gordon’s case.”
It was obvious that someone had done something to stop that lawyer.
Their hope was dashed. Both of them remained silent. The atmosphere was solemn, and neither of them spoke.
The veins on Savanna’s fingers that held the crystal fruit plate bulged, and her teeth creaked.
She put down the fruit plate.
Savanna turned to put on her coat. She had just taken a step when Leo grabbed her arm. “Savanna, we can’t act rashly.”
Savanna looked at him, and her chest seemed to be burning with anger.
“Leo, it’s all my fault. Gordon was arrested because of me. I have to talk to Brandon about this.”
“We have no evidence,” Leo said weakly.
“If it wasn’t him, who else could it be?”
Savanna shouted excitedly, “He just doesn’t want me to be happy. I made a mistake and married him. Do I have to live in the shadow for the rest of my life?”
Her anger made sense.
However, Leo knewclearly why Brandon had done this.
He didn’t want Savanna to go to Brandon, not only because he didn’t want to break his calm
He didn’t want Savanna to contact Brandon.
