Chapter 471
“Let’s go.”
Not long after, Savanna and a girl came out of the public bathroom one after another.
When that girl came out, she sneakily glanced in the direction of Brandon.
She was cautious at first, and then her pupils trembled. She was very surprised.
That girl never thought the control freak husband that Savanna mentioned was actually a handsome guy.
Just in the public bathroom, Savanna suddenly ran over to the girl for help, saying that she was being watched by her husband and needed to borrow her phone to make a call for help.
The girl originally wanted to persuade her to call 911. But on second thought, the police probably wouldn’t be able to deal with the domestic affair. The girl generously took out her phone and handed it to Savanna.
Due to the urgency of the situation, Savanna quickly made the phone call. She briefly explained the matter and returned the phone to the owner before rushing out of the bathroom.
“Let’s go back. Roya is still waiting at home,” she said as she sat in her wheelchair.
Brandon nodded and pushed the wheelchair to leave.
Behind him, the girl who lent her phone to Savanna quietly poked her head out. Her gaze was a little confused.
The girl felt like the two of them were quite compatible. Was that handsome guy really a perverted control freak?
Why did she feel that it was not like him? If there was anything strange about it, it was that the handsome guy looked a little gloomy.
But no matter what, in her opinion, that handsome guy had nothing to do with being a pervert!
After returning, Savanna was a little too quiet. She no longer tried to find ways to run outside. She comforted children, watered flowers, drank afternoon tea, and peacefully lived in a luxurious cage. It was as if she never mentioned divorce at all.
During this time, Savanna asked to go to Tye’s school twice. The first time, it was
Brandon who accompanied her there.
After seeing the child, Brandon came out of the office and asked, “Do you remember the last time? Tye fought with another kid, and the school called us?”
Savanna knew what Brandon wanted to say and how he wanted to use those beautiful. memories to erase her determination to get a divorce.
It was a pity that these memories were not good for her. If it were just an ordinary family, her child wouldn’t have been switched and left outside when it was only a few months old. Her baby even grew into autism because of it.
“Mr. Cassel, when I am with you, there is not pure happy time. On the contrary, the pain is thousands of times greater.”
Brandon’s face darkened. He asked, “Then who are you happy with? Rex? You talked and laughed with him. But with me, are there only painful memories?”
Savanna did not say a word.
Brandon thought that she had agreed silently, and his expression changed instantly.
In that instant, Savanna saw the anger in his eyes.
That kind of uncontrollable anger, which seemed to want to tear everything apart, made people extremely terrified.
Savanna subconsciously took a step back.
Fortunately, Brandon did not do anything to hurt Savanna but called the driver to send her home.
After returning that day, Savanna was still locked up at home. For the next week, she had not seen Brandon. Half a week later, at noon, Savanna tucked in the child and went downstairs to eat as usual.
There was a sudden piercing sound of brakes in the yard outside. Lizeth hurriedly got up to check it out. She opened the door and saw a familiar sports car. The black sports car had just stopped, and the wind brought up by the car lifted the dust on the ground.
“Ms. Thompson, Mr. Cassel is back. I haven’t seen him for a long time!”
Lizeth looked delighted.
She thought that time could heal everything. The two hosts were truly in love. A small separation would bring them closer. They must have reconciled.
Unexpectedly, when the car door was pushed open, Brandon, who wore custom-made leather shoes, stomped on the ground with anger.
