Chapter 496
“Finn, if you continue like this, I will be angry!”
Lilia pouted with her hands on her hips, looking like an angry hamster.
“I am not Finn,” Brandon emphasized again.
“Finn, this joke is not funny at all!” Lilia was mad. “I called you to pick me up at the airport. Why do you still play a prank on me? You are awful!”
Brandon thought, no wonder Finn dragged his sick body to the airport. He came for this girl.
This girl must be important to him.
It seems I found his soft spot by accident.
“Finn, answer me!” Lilia stomped her foot. “I dare you to deny it again. If you do, I will instantly buy a ticket and fly back to Paris as soon as possible. Never will I come back again!”
Brandon crossed his arms and sneered. “Do I look like that sickly Finn?”
“What sickness? Isn’t it just hypoglycemia?” Lilia thought of something and then pointed at Brandon’s face delightedly. “Finn, did you do workouts recently and then recover? This is a good surprise for me!”
Lilia looked at Brandon and was confident about her guess. Lilia thought, Finn looks much better than he did on his last visit to Paris. He seems stronger and has muscles.
“Finn, I know that you love me. You must have done exercises for my sake!”
“Hypoglycemia?” Brandon frowned at the ignorant and innocent girl.
“Didn’t you tell me that you lost weight and looked pale because of overwork and irregular diets?”
Lilia raised her head with sincerity and innocence in her bright eyes.
“Didn’t he tell you about his sickness?” Brandon was very puzzled.
Brandon thought, people, who have a terminal illness, long to spend their last moments with their beloved without regrets.
Why did Finn deceive Lilia?
Is there anything I don’t know?
This trip is worthwhile. It seems I got the goods on that lunatic.
“He? Is there a third soul here? Finn, what are you talking about? You are weird today!”
Lilia complained.
Lilia stomped her feet and sulked. “I flew back here. You don’t give me a hug but keep talking nonsense to infuriate me. I saw you on the phone. Did you find a new girlfriend behind my back?”
“I’m not Finn. Just wait. He will be here soon. After his arrival, you will know what I said is true,” Brandon said in a cold tone.
“Fine. Since you don’t want me here, I’ll go buy a ticket and fly back.”
Angry, Lilia pulled her suitcase and turned to leave.
