Patrick was hiding in a corner, not wanting to see Clarissa.

Vanessa kept trying to persuade him to try to make amends.

She didn‘t say anything else, though. They had only just gotten back, and she didn‘t want to get into a fight with him just yet. Clarissa could imagine how furious he must‘ve been at her going against him and insisting on leaving the country. “What should I wear, then?” she asked. They had returned in a hurry and hadn‘t had the chance to pack anything. Even the scarf he had bought for her had been left in Emmeria.

“You?” Damien eyed her lustily. “You look best when you‘re naked. We should take several more photos of you in the nude this time.”

“Fuck off!” Clarissa spat

He sat down on the sofa. His heart seemed to itch even more at her words.
