Chapter 397 You Can Have a Baby With Someone Else

Damien had his way with Clarissa over the next few days.

If not for the fact that he was indeed the president of New East Corporation, she would think that he was a nymphomaniac. It seemed to be the only thing on his mind. To this, all he said was, “This is your first time back here in so many months. I have to make up for all the time that we‘ve lost.”

Clarissa had been listening in on their conversation.

She was suspicious of everything she had heard recently. If she had guessed correctly, the two people in this conversation were Lucy and Helen. Back in Emmeria, Mrs. Faber had already told Damien about Lucy being pregnant, but Damien had brushed her off and told Clarissa not to believe it. Now, however, Clarissa was starting to think it was true. Moreover, Lucy had congenital heart disease. When Lucy stepped out of the room, she glanced at Clarissa, who was standing near the door.

She didn‘t seem to recognize Clarissa, and left quickly.
