Chapter 47 Someone Important “What do you think you’re doing?” Damien’s anger was through the roof. Annoyed, he lit up a cigarette and sung the lighter impatiently on the table “Are you suspecting the umbrella I bought for you was a fake?” Clarissa lought back, just as furious.

“You’re not that stupid after all.” Damien narrowed his eyes disdainfully as he looked at Clarissa.

However, his reaction confused Clarissa. “See it for yourself!” Clarissa shouted angrily. So he really was influenced by Madelynn!

Clarissa slammed the phone in front of Damien and showed him the conversation record between her and Rachel Bing, her classmate.

“I paid her 1500 dollars last Friday. There was no reason for her to sell me a fake!” Clarissa grabbed the phone back as soon as she finished speaking. That subsided Damien’s anger. Though Clarissa was scrolling really fast just now, he managed to catch a few lines. ‘Who’s the umbrella for? It’s expensive.’

‘It’s for someone important.’ ‘Boyfriend?

However, Clarissa didn’t reply to that.

‘Does that mean he’s someone important to her?’ “So?” Damien asked, though he sounded slightly more gentle. He should’ve known Madelynn would try to provoke him on purpose But whenever it was something related to Clarissa, he simply couldn’t help himself.

Unfortunately, she was still as money-minded as ever.

“It’s your fault for ryaking me sleep in another room. You believed in someone’s lies!” Clarissa couldn’t help but raise her voice as she thought of Madelynn.

“Why? Aren’t you used to sleeping alone?” Damien answered in a flirtatious tone. “I was bored.”

“Were you afraid? Do you want to come back to my room?”

“Ha! In your dreams!” Clarrissa rubbed her neck.

However, it was true she was afraid of being alone last night. It was made even worse because she had to be in a room alone in such a big villa.

The entire company had found out about Clarissa sleeping in Damien’s class. Being the director, Howard should be talang action. As such, he wanted to discuss the problem with Damien Upon reaching Damien’s office, he heard everything from outside… President Lawrence was actually having a light with Clarissa, all because of an umbrella! He came to the conclusion that Clarissa didn’t care about him enough, and so made her sleep in another room.

The revelation was enough to shock Howard.

That meant that Clarissa had been sleeping with President Lawrence for god knows how long.

In addition, Howard couldn’t bear listening to President Lawrence… and his words.

Something about missing his… Who knew President Lawrence was capable of jokes like these! Though there were rumors going around claiming that President Lawrence had been coming to the company with Clarissa, Howard liad always found it ridiculous. It was even more so when Clarissa was basically a nobody.

But as unbelievable as they were, the rumors were actually true?!

President Lawrence had a mature image, so much so that anyone who made eye contact with
