Chapter 75 What Does This Have To Do With You? Soon, both Damien and Clarissa were inside the car. “Honey, have you gotten off work? Do you feel tired?” Clarissa simpered with a gentle tone. “Not really,” Damien replied casually, sounding calm as he continued driving the car. “Oh. Well, I’m just worried about you.” “What are you worried about? I’m not tired. We didn’t spend too much time having sex yesterday night, so I’m fine,” Damien said casually. Clarissa’s face turned red all of a sudden. She wasn’t hinting at that at all.

“Lucas will be interviewing the candidates next week,” Damien said.

“Next week?” Clarissa was shocked.

if that was the case, she wouldn’t have much time to fulfill any of the requirements! She hadn’t attained her postgraduate certification yet, and she still wasn’t a certified accountant.

“What’s wrong? Does this have anything to do with you?” Damien seemed to be hinting that a low-level employee like her shouldn’t even dream about getting a promotion.

Damien’s words were like knives stabbing into Clarissa’s heart.

“Am I really that useless to you?” Her face dropped as she sighed. Damien let out a carefree laugh.”Not really, why? I thought you’re trying to resign.” At the mention of her resignation, Clarissa was left speechless. She stuttered out the words. “I … I was just sick of my colleagues gossiping about me all the time.” Damien sneered and thought, ‘Why isn’t she telling me the truth? That she was attracted by Joseph’s charisma?’

“Are you interested in applying for a post in the Audit Department?” At the mention of work, Damien’s tone became solemn.

“Well, 1… I’m still waiting to take the final exam to become a certified accountant. So. I’m… I’m thinking of…” Since she was trying to persuade Damien into giving her the position, she softened her tone and spoke with exaggerated politeness. “What do you want?
