Love Left Her For Dead (Natalie Carter) novel Chapter 22

In an attempt to make it up to Natalie, Logan brought up their wedding plans again.

If it weren't for Clara, the pain Jayden had caused, and that explosion, Natalie would've already been his bride, his wife. But he believed it wasn't too late.

Logan spared no expense to make sure the wedding was perfect. From the tiniest details of the ring to the grand design of the venue, he oversaw it all himself.

Natalie, on the other hand, didn't say a word. After all, she wasn't looking forward to it. What she was looking forward to was Logan's expression the moment his dream came crashing down.

"Are you really going to be this harsh on Logan? Compared to Jayden, he didn't do as much damage to you," the system asked, its voice tinged with hesitation. After all, what she was about to do was excessively cruel.

Natalie sneered, "Then what do you think is not cruel?"

Logan might not have been as ruthless as Jayden, but every time Jayden had punished her, Logan had just gone along with it.

He'd acted like the perfect nice guy, yet his actions were utterly disgusting. He'd known she had no one else, and yet, he'd still chosen to abandon her in order to help Clara.

A man who'd strayed and wronged her didn't deserve her forgiveness or attention anymore. He needed to face the consequences of his actions.

The day of Logan and Natalie's wedding finally arrived.

Even though he'd replayed this moment in his head countless times, he was still incredibly nervous when the day came. He stood at the end of the floral archway, taking deep breaths, willing his heart to calm down.

At last, he would be able to hold Natalie in his arms again. This time, she would be completely his. "Things will get better for us from here on out," he thought to himself.
