Getting a hard on just by thinking about her.
Henry twirled around on the swivel chair in his office. He was frustrated; why was his father giving him troubles? He had been thinking of a way to dispel the engagement between he and Kathleen. However he couldn't come with a suitable plan; it wasn't an easy feat at all. His ringtone sounded at that moment.
"Who the fuck is calling me?" He groaned as he glanced at the caller ID. "Jake?"
"Yes,me." Jake's voice sounded right outside the door.
"The heck man!" Henry clutched his chest dramatically. Jake had a weird habit of calling someone when he was close to the person in fact. If he was already here, then what was the use of calling?
"Sorry, couldn't help it." Jake shrugged and plopped himself on the chair opposite Henry's.
"Why are you here?" Henry asked with an uninterested look plastered on his face. Recently,Jake always showed up at his office unannounced. When asked why,he always claimed it was because he missed him.
"I missed..." Jake began.
"Me. I know, but can't you just stay back at your cafe?" Henry wasn't in the mood to engage in irrelevant chitchats. He needed to figure out a way to stop the marriage between him and Kathleen from happening.
"That hurts, ouch...." Jake rolled his eyes dramatically.
"That's your business." Henry turned his attention to the documents on his table;he needed to sort them out. And yes, there was this offer he needed to see to.
"Is there anything wrong with you?" Jake could sense there was something wrong with his friend.
"You just noticed? Of course there is something wrong with me." Henry massaged his temple gently.
"Let me guess, you had a quarrel with your father over marriage again?" Jake said knowingly.
Henry nodded in affirmative,he was getting of everything. Why couldn't his father be understanding and let me off for a while. His mother wasn't even helping matters; always supporting her husband's decisions. Weren't mothers supportive of their children? Why was his case different? Choosing her husband over her son. This was nothing short of betrayal, yeah, that was what it was...
