I had been tugging my hair out because of this challenging obstacle. So, I didn’t expect Noah would get around it so swiftly and easily.
I immediately sent the evidence he had given me to Mark. With this, I was sure I could sue Irvin for transferring our joint shares without my knowledge. Plus, there was also evidence of how broken our relationship was.
With these factors combined, Mark would definitely be able to get the court to rule in favor of our divorce. I was also confident I would get a larger portion of our assets too
Overcome with joy, 1 hugged Noah and exclaimed, “Noah, you’re such a good kid! You’re truly amazing!”
Noah instantly blushed, but I was completely oblivious to is. After thanking him profusely, I released him and started working on the divorce. I couldn’t wait to get it over with.
Once I had compiled all the evidence, I headed straight to the courthouse to file for our divorce.
Irvin received a summons from the court soon after. In fact he was standing outside my house when he did. His eyes were already red with unshed tears, and when one of his many secretaries brought the summons to him, the tears threatened to spill.
“I’m sorry, babe, truly. I really don’t know how I became such a terrible person. I…” he trailed off.
My bodyguards had filled Irvin in on what he had done to me for the past two years. However, he didn’t believe them. He refused to believe that he had done such despicable things to me.
In his mind, I was his most beloved person in this world. So much so that he would rather die than treat me so horribly.
Hence, Irvin did his own investigation. Yet, no matter how hard he searched, all he found was the cold, harsh truth. He had indeed treated me horribly for the past two years.
Not only had he abused me emotionally, but he had also stood by and allowed those around him to humiliate me. He had also disregarded my life time and time again. And this time he had even tried to exchange me for Julianne without caring what I thought or wanted.
Now that I had filed for divorce, the court would ultimately rule in favor of it, given the evidence I had submitted.
Even so, the case could drag on for a long time if Irvin was against it. It could even become very time–consuming if he was adamant about staying together.
And given that I wanted to divorce him as soon as possible, it was best if he was in agreement with it.
“I don’t want an apology from you, Irvin. I want a divorcé. Since you also know you’ve done something wrong, we should get this over with quickly. So man up, and cooperate to end this marriage!”
My eyes were devoid of any emotion as I looked at him. It was apparent that the only thing I wanted was to divorce him right away.
Seeing this, Irvin blinked blankly. Then, he began crying.
“I didn’t do any of those things, babe. It wasn’t me. So please, don’t treat me like this, okay? You know how much I love you,” he said with tears streaming down his face.
Irvin’s memory was only up until the day after we had gotten married. He had just married the love of his life and was so happy that he had had one too many drinks. Passing out after, he didn’t think that four years would have

gone by once he woke up.
And instead of living a happy life with me and a child, he had…
Irvin still couldn’t believe he had hurt the even though the facts and evidence were right in front of him. He couldn’t accept it.
One moment, we had just been happily married. And the next thing he knew, we were about to be divorced because I–the love of his life–no longer wanted hilm.
He genuinely couldn’t imagine living his life without me. Just thinking about it made his heart ache so much that he wanted to die.
I watched Irvin as he stood before me. This once proud and highty man was currently crying like a child.
