Chapter 2351

was so shocked that I spilled my drink.

When I snapped out of my shock, I realized the figure was fevin. He had his fist raised and was about to swing it again. Seeing this, I quickly rushed forward and grabbed his arm.

What are you doing!1 sternly scolded.

Irvin had looked like a raging wild beast. However, he instantly looked aggrieved when he heard me reprimand him:

But he was harassing you, babe,he whined in protest.

He had hurt me repeatedly, and we were already divorced. So, I didn’t understand how he had the gall to still call me babeand behave this way.

His behaviour irked me.

Irvin kept claiming he loved me and was miserable. Yet, he still kept going to such lengths to help Julianne. This made me never want to see him again. And now that I had, I went from feeling like I was floating in heaven to feeling like I had descended into hell.

I scowled at this. Before I could say anything else, he lifted me by my waist and stormed off.

Blondie was about to chase after us when Irvin’s assistant stopped him. His angry expression instantly turned into

a smile when the assistant handed him a wad of cash.

I struggled against Irvin once I came back to my senses.

Put me down, Irvin! Put me down right now, or I’ll call the cops!

However, it didn’t matter what I said or how much I struggled against him. Irvin seemed unaffected by it. Angered by this, I bit down hard on his arm.

However, he didn’t seem to feel any pain even though I was biting him hard enough to draw blood. He didn’t even react at all, let alone release me.

I clenched my jaw in anger. It was at this moment that I regretted dismissing my bodyguards too early.

I didn’t like having a bunch of people follow me around everywhere. Thus, after Julianne had been detained, and I was sure there was no danger around me, I had dismissed most of them,

I only kept one to deal with my family.

He had a family emergency just as I was about to leave on this vacation, so he didn’t come along with me.
