Seeing that he understood what she was trying to convey, Ava stopped bothering with subtlety. "Don't think Uncle Will has betrayed you, Noah. You know how good he has always been to us. He has honestly spent his entire life living just for our sakes. To him, we matter more than his own life.

"If there had even been the slightest chance that you and Ms. Quill could end up together, Uncle Will would've never made a move. It wouldn't have mattered how much he liked her.
