“None of the such has occurred for thousands of years during the time our predecessors had been ruling, I will not have that legacy destroyed just because of a mere bond. One of the elders spoke in return. 

“Shut up, old man!” Micheal, who was more aggressive and impatient than Miles, stood up with a motive to fight. Other Betas and Alphas also stood up to stop Micheal from doing something irrational. 

But Ciara came in and interrupted the tension ongoing in the large room with an announcement, “Alexia is in danger!” 

As soon as the both of them heard what Ciara said, They growled in fierce anger which shook the whole room. 

“What happened?” Miles demanded from Ciara on their way out of the mansion, “Wolfsbane Came the reply from Ciara after hesitating for a while. 

“Who did it?” Micheal asked in a deathly calm tone. “We don’t know yet.” Ciara answered nervously. 

She watched as the both of them got inside their car and drove off. “You have to go with them Axiel, Jenna is with Alexia and those two are fuming angry, they might take it out on her.” Ciara warned Axiel who also agreed on that.

“Where is she?!!” Micheal yelled at the doctors who all scurried away in fear of having to face the wraths of the supreme Alphas. 

“How could you not have informed us first, Jenna!” Micheal yelled angrily at his sister who bursted into tears all over again.

“I don’t care, Alexia is my friend.” Jenna replied back with a determined tone. 

“She has to transit into her wolf form,” The doctor told the brothers the same thing she told Jenna. “How? It is not even full moon ye.” Miles said looking puzzled but then he realized what the doctor really meant. 

“You can’t do that. Michael replied the doctor before Miles could, “That’s the only way. I’m afraid if we don’t do that, then she might lose her life!” 

“Or she might go crazy, if we force her to transition when her body isn’t ready! Find another way to cure Alexia doctor!” Micheal said in a disagreeing tone. “If you want your mate to live, then this is the best we can do. The doctor said with a tone of finality. 

The both of them fell into a deep silence as they processed the doctor’s words, The consequences of the measures they will be taking to make Alexia recover would be a very dire one. They weren’t oblivious to that and it pains them to know that is the only solution on ground. 

The doctor herself was under great tension, these two powerful beings in front of her trying to make a crucial decision 

scared her so much. But she tried her best not to show it. 

“We will do it ourselves, let us have the serum. Miles said after the both of them reached an agreement by telepathy. After discussing with the doctor, the two brothers went to see their mate in the ward she was in.

Anger consumed the both of them once again as they stared at Alexia’s body which was already pale as the dead. Miles walked up to her and held her hand in between his, “She is so cold.” He said. 

“Kayla did this, Micheal blurted out after a while. Took you long enough to figure that out. Said Miles with a scoff. “How should we punish her? She’s a threat to our mate.” 

“I will kill her before Alexia gets to recover. She won’t let us do so if she’s better.” 

Micheal replied with a sigh. “We shouldn’t hurt our mate Micheal, We can’t kill Kayla.” Miles told his brother who only rolled 

his eyes. 

“What do you suggest we do then brother, Let her go?”
