Chapter 121 

“Is that really what you think Kayla? That I will abandon you just to save myself? Have you forgotten all that I’ve done for you? I went against Micheal and Miles so many times just to make you happy! Do you know what I did to get you out of jail? None of the elders even want to have anything to do with me anymore and it’s all because of you! How can you forget this?” Ray asked Kayla. He had seen Kayla’s ungrateful attitude so many times but he didn’t say anything about it. 

He never thought that he would become the recipient of her ungratefulness one day. 

Kayla rolled her eves. She did not think that her father had helped her because he loved her so much. He was on her side when she and Alexia were growing up because Alexia could not shift. 

And then when she got mated to Micheal and Miles, her father let her bully Alexia because she’s going to become Luna one day. Then when Micheal and Miles rejected her, his attitude changed and he started to blame her for every single thing. 

Even telling her that she had to apologize to Alexia if she wants to get out of this place. She saw this coming a long time ago. 

Her father doesn’t really love anyone except himself. He will favour the daughter whom he thinks that he can benefit the 

most from. 

“Oh please dad! Stop acting as if you actually really do care about me because we know that you don’t. You don’t care about me at all and that is just the truth! You only care about the daughter that can help you the most! Isn’t that why you 

sided me no matter what I did to Alexia? Because I am going to be Luna and because I am the she–wolf that can shift. Besides that, there really isn’t any other reason you were so good to me! Don’t think that I don’t know this! I know each and every of your games!” Kayla said angrily. 

“1…” Ray opened his mouth to say something, to at least deny the charges that were heaped on him but he found out that there was nothing that he could say because Kayla was right. It’s true that he was biased to his daughters. 

And deep down, he knew that his bias stemmed from the things that he would get from Kayla. But he had given her all of the love and care that he did not give to Alexia. 

Even Alexia whom he didn’t treat well did not dare to talk to him like this. She is still polite to him even if she is disappointed in him as a father. So how dare Kayla talk to him like this? 

“Kayla, do you even know what you are saying?! I am your father! I did everything for you! What I didn’t even think about giving to Alexia for once in her life, I gave all of them to you! I let you do whatever you want and I supported you in every crazy thing that you did! My entire life….it’s all going to go down the drain because of you and this is how you pay me back? This is how you talk to me! For blaming me for the bad decisions that you’ve made?” Ray asked his daughter. 

Kayla rolled her eyes. His words had nothing on her at all. In her heart, her father had done all of this for himself. They had a mutually beneficial relationship and when he realized that he couldn’t use her anymore, he couldn’t wait to cut off all ties with her. He tried to give her some reasons for his actions but she isn’t blind. She can see what is going on for herself. It’s all 

an excuse. 

“Dad, don’t think that I don’t know why you are doing this! You have given up on me! I am no longer useful to you and that is why you want me gone from your life! You must be happy that I am stuck here right? At least I won’t be your problem for the rest of your life anymore! And Alexia….since when have you cared about Alexia! Since when did you care if I kill her? I can do whatever I want to her and you won’t be able to do anything about it! You have never cared about her before so why do you suddenly care if she lives or dies?” Kayla asked. 

In the past when she was still Micheal and Miles‘ mate and when everyone else thought that she’s going to be Luna, her dad would turn a blind cyc if she tried to kill Alexia. So why does he suddenly care about it now?. When did he become such a good and capable Father? 

Ray raised his hand to slap Kayla but he decided against it. It’s just useless hitting her. It won’t get his point across and it won’t change her twisted mind anyway. She will just have to find another way to heap the blame on someone else. 

“Even if I fed a dog for so long Kayla, that dog will develop feelings for me and she won’t try to hurt me the way that you have. The dog won’t be so ungrateful! The only explanation here is that Kayla, you are worse than a dog! In case you don’t know, I’m not getting out of this easilyi Micheal and Miles think that I know what you have been trying to do to Alexia. They think that it’s my fault because I did not try to stop you, so they are no longer going to support me. I am going to lose it all” Ray said and took a pause. 

He felt hurt in his heart. He has been biased but he really did love Kayla. He has given her all the love and care that a man can possibly give his kid. But she didn’t want it. She just threw it all away.
