He should have known that there is no way in hell he’d ever be able to save someone that doesn’t want to be saved at all. 

“Dad! You are really going to leave me.? You are really going to abandon me here? Dad, I am your daughter! I am the one who you’ve always loved. You just can’t abandon me! Go beg Alexia! She’s always been a softie. She will always listen to you as long as you beg her!” Kayla said. 

She has been running her mouth because she thought that her father will never abandon her for real. Now that he told her that he’s not coming back for her, she was really scared now. 

What was she supposed to do when he won’t even listen to her? What will she do with her life now? 

Deep down. Kayla knows that she is nothing without her father. She will really lose everything if he decides to abandon her right now.

“What are you doing Miss? Please go back in there! You can’t leave until you are okay! As long as you take your treatment, I’m sure that you’ll be okay soon!” The nurse said to Kayla. 

Kayla rolled her eyes. She isn’t an idiot! She can see that she will never leave this place. Micheal and Miles will make sure that she will never become well. She is going to be stuck here for the rest of her life under the guise that she’s not well.
