Axiel was lying on his bed. He was done dealing with the different elders who had come to see him today.

Usually, at this time, he would be out drinking or having fun with women but he did not feel like doing any of that today.

After what Nadia did, he knew that he had to be careful with the women that he messed with from now on. He didn’t want anyone to use the fact that he is sleeping with her to pressure him to make her his Luna.

He already knew that only Jenna can be his Luna. She is his mate. No one else can take that position away from

her.

As for all the other wolves, he was just having fun with them..

Axiel was upset when he remembered Jenna’s attitude to him the last time he saw her. All other she wolves will do anything to get close to him.

He went to see her and she actually had the guts to turn him away!

Axiel suddenly jumped up from the bed. He did not believe that he won’t be able to charm Jenna.

He can get just about any woman to fall in love with him. He just needs to figure out what that particular woman

For Jenna, Axiel was sure that it’s because he doesn’t know enough about her. As long as he gets to know her more, he will find out what she likes and she will fall in love with him in no time.

She had just finished dressing up when someone knocked on her door.

Jenna opened it and saw one of the guards standing outside.

“Miss Jenna, Alpha Axiel is here to see you. He is in the waiting room right now. Should I tell him to leave?” The guard asked. Most of them knew that Jenna doesn’t like her mate.

She will tell them to tell lies to Axiel whenever he comes to visit just so he could leave her alone.

Jenna wanted to do the same thing but she suddenly stopped. Why should she turn him away?

She had already decided that she will become his Luna. Even if she doesn’t like him, she has no intentions of changing her mate.

Jenna knows that for a wolf like Axiel, his pride is the most important thing. If she rejects him, he will feel like his pride was trampled on and he will try to get revenge by going after her brothers.

The only way she can protect them is by sacrificing herself.

Axiel was waiting in the living room. At first, he thought that Jenna won’t agree to see him and that she’s going to give him some silly excuse once again.

But then the guard came back and told him that Jenna will be with him shortly.

Axiel felt excited for some reason. Ever since the both of them were mated, they have only met each other a handful of times. This is the first time that they will be meeting alone.

Without any supervision from one of her brothers.

A few minutes later, Jenna walked into the living room.

Axiel’s mouth almost dropped open when he saw Jenna.

He had always known that she is a beautiful woman. But he had never taken a good look at her face before.

This is the first time that he’s taking a good look at her. Axiel could not help but subconsciously compare her to the other women that he usually hangs out with in his heart.

Those women, like Nadia, are all plastic and made up. They will do anything just to make themselves look a bit prettier, slashing on layers after layers of make up.

Axiel was more than determined to win the heart of Jenna now.

He knows that it won’t be easy to win over a woman like Jenna but he was determined to take on the challenge.

“To what do I owe this visit, Your Highness? Is the alpha so free that he comes to see me so often?” Jenna asked. She would have preferred if the both of them didn’t have to deal with each other at all, at least until the mating ceremony but she knew that it wasn’t ideal at all.

They need to meet at some point and then get to know each other a bit better. That is why she’s here today.

Axiel gave Jenna what he thought was a very charming smile.

“You are my mate after all. No matter how busy I am, I have to make time for you. Unlike you, who is always turning me down every single time I come to see you. What made you change your mind about seeing me today?” Axiel asked.

He really could not shake the thought off his mind. He thought that Jenna will just turn him away again.
