Chapter 85 

“Dad, are you on Alexia’s side now? Is that it? you are taking her side how because she’s mated to the alphas?” Kayla asked. It wasn’t as if she didn’t know that her father was biased. 

She had always known that. But since she was the one getting the preferential treatment, it didn’t bother her. Now that the tables have turned and Alexia is in a better position than her, she felt horrible at the blatant discrimination. 

“I’m not taking anyone’s side here. I’m calling it out as I see it. But you are right about one thing. Alexia is now the Alphas” mate. She’s going to be the Luna. You just can’t do whatever you want with her from now on. 

You have to be careful around her if you value your life!” Ray said. He still remembered Miles warning very well. 

No matter what Kayla does, she is his daughter. He didn’t want anything to happen to her. He wanted her to be safe, and the only way that is going to happen is if she stays away from Alexia from now on. 

Kayla rolled her eyes. I already know that she is their mate. Why do I need to be afraid of her just because she’s their mate? It’s still hard to tell if she’s going to be Luna anyway. 

Just look at me. I was their mate, but I didn’t become Luna. Anyway, when I was their mate, at least I didn’t go around throwing my family members in dungeons and threatening them with their lives!” Kayla spat out with envy oozing from her 

tone. 

If she had known that Micheal and Miles were so nice to their mates, she would have used their power a long time ago! 

Ray shook his head. He was starting to feel that there’s no help for Kayla. She doesn’t even think that she did anything and she’s still trying to justify her actions. 

“I already warned you. Stay away from Alexia if you value your life at all. She now lives with Michael and Miles and they have made it clear that they won’t be tolerating your antics anymore!” 

Alexia felt a bomb go off in her head when she heard this. How come Alexia lives with Micheal and Miles in the palace?!. 

She didn’t even get a chance to do that when she was their mate! How can Alexia get all the things she used to have and even things she didn’t even dare dream of?! 

“Dad….what do you mean she’s living with Miles and Micheal? How is this possible? How can they let her live with them? They don’t even know her that well! It’s just the mate bond speaking! How can…how can this be possible? Miles and Michael don’t like anyone invading their space! I once asked them to let me live with them and they said no! They said that they can’t let anyone live with them because its like their personal space! How…why is Alexia living with them?” Kayla asked. She was still trying hard to process this shock. 

Ray shook his head. He knows that is going to come as a rude shock to Kayla but he needs to rip the band aid off so she knows that she can’t mess around with Alexia anymore. She has to be careful around her. Especially when they start school. 

“Micheal and Miles made the decision. They said that I neglected Alexia and let you do whatever you want to her, they won’t let her live with us because they think that you are just going to continue with the bullying. 

They want her as far away from you as possible. Besides, they warned me, Kayla. They said that the both of us had better stay away from Alexia or else you are going to be the one to pay the price. You are smart Kayla. You can understand what they want.

anyone finding out. They are that powerful. Let’s not mess with Alexia anymore,” Ray said. 

It pained him that he had to let go of his daughter now that she’s going to be the Luna but he really didn’t want to see Kayla 

dead. He won’t be able to take it. 

“Dad! How can they say that they are going to get rid of me if I go close to her? She’s my sister for goodness sake! And besides, you are their father’s beta! How can you let them threaten and intimidate you? Don’t they care about your position as beta anymore?” Kayla asked. 

She had always taken pride in the fact that her father was once the beta. She thought that even Miles and Micheal had to pay respect to her father. 

But the events of the past few weeks have proved her wrong. It seems that things aren’t the way she thought they are.

He used to think like this too. He thought that Micheal and Miles will give him some respect because of thier late father but he was wrong. They don’t care about anyone and anything at all. 

“But you are also Alexia’s father! They aren’t just going to demand for her family to disappear from her life just because some things happened!” Kayla said. Kayla thought that playing the family card was going to work on Micheal and Miles, especially since they care about their own sister Jenna a lot. 

But she soon found out that she was wrong. Very wrong. By the time she came back to her senses, she was already in deep trouble. Trouble that even her father was unable to save her from..
