Madelyn knew her analysis was correct by looking at Amelia’s expression, but she had no interest in this matter. She turned and walked toward the private room she had booked. 

She heard Amelia’s tense voice behind her. “Are you going to tell Caleb?” 

Hearing that made Madelyn stop in her tracks momentarily before she walked ahead again. She did not answer Amelia’s question.
