Seeing that Andrew had personally driven over, Frank dropped his serious. attitude from earlier and leaned against the car window. He was back to 

his usual carefree self. 

“Andrew, I’ll need Madelyn’s help this week, so don’t take it out on me.” 

“Get lost!” Andrew glared icily at him. 

Frank stood up and scratched his nose before speaking to Madelyn, who was seated in the passenger seat, “I’ll have to trouble you, Madelyn.” 

When Frank finished speaking, the car sped past him with a gust of wind 

from the exhaust. 

Through the rearview mirror, Madelyn saw Frank standing in the same. spot, talking to Rowan. He even patted Rowan, who looked rather disdainful, on the shoulder. 

She knew that Rowan was very close with Andrew and Laura when they were at Felasko. Although everyone else liked Elena, Rowan never did. Instead, he always preferred to be with Andrew and Laura. 

Andrew grabbed Madelyn’s hand and placed it on the gear shift, asking, How did you manage to convince Frank? He can be very demanding.” 

Andrew was implying that Madelyn was merely a fresh graduate. There was no way Frank would have been impressed with her designs. 

Madelyn glared at Andrew. “Obviously, I’m rather talented.” 

“Don’t think so highly of yourself. Tell me the truth!” 

“The truth is Frank likes my design. I’m now responsible for the Glomscape project next to Glomhill.” 

“He let you handle Glomscape?” 

“Yes. So, why don’t you let me manage Glomhill as well, darling?” Madelyn cheekily looked at Andrew, whose gaze was filled with suspicion. 

Recently, the company had been keeping in touch with Unity Studios so that they could collaborate with Naomi. While the studio agreed to accept projects, they did not say a word about her. Clearly, Naomi was unlikely to take on the job. 

Seeing how Andrew remained quiet, Madelyn asked coquettishly, “Will you let me have the job or not?” 

“No! If you really want to handle the project, show me a draft first,” Andrew said while pinching her hand. 

Madelyn could do whatever she liked with the studio, but Andrew always kept business and personal matters separate. Thus, he couldn’t let his company get caught up in her antics. 

Madelyn wasn’t angry at all even though she knew he didn’t trust her. She merely scoffed. “Let me warn you in advance. I won’t be free in the future.” 

The way she spoke so confidently about her ability only made Andrew laugh even more. 

“What are you laughing at?” Madelyn asked. 

Andrew replied, “Nothing much. Come back home whenever you don’t feel like working anymore.” 

Did Andrew think she was just messing around? In that case, why did he even set up such a large studio for her? At that moment, Madelyn felt

Andrew asked, “Are you able to pay your employees‘ wages this month?” 

“We’ve already accepted two projects now. Jessie still has a few on hand, and we’re waiting for the new architects to begin work. Paying their wages definitely won’t be an issue.” 

“You’re just riding on the name of Unity Studios. If you can’t establish yourself within a short time, your studio will just go up in smoke. No one will seek you out in the future.”
