What they were expecting to see was something that could entertain them and where they could be able to judge someone else from a moral and righteous point of view. The truth did not actually matter.

“Vicky, we’ve given you all the chances you need. Don’t blame us for doing this!”

The two girls forcefully grabbed Vicky’s purse to get it out of Vicky’s hand.

Unconsciously, Vicky grabbed her purse tightly. The two girls saw it, and their eyes were wavering with evilness. One of the girls pulled Vicky’s purse away and threw it into the air. The other girl took the chance and pushed Vicky away vehemently.

Vicky let go of the purse, and it flew up into the sky. When the purse dropped on the floor, it created a noise. All of the items in the purse were scattered out. Key, phone, tissue, and some makeup items were all over the floor.

After being pushed by the girl, Vicky failed to stand steadily and was about to fall down. Suddenly, a pair of slim and long hands supported her. In the meantime, she smelled a familiar fragrance.

Vicky blinked her eyes and looked up. The handsome man appeared behind her all of a sudden, and he was looking at her now.

“What’s wrong?” His voice was low and crisp, just like how melodious the harp sounded.

Vicky was stunned. “Tyler…”

Tyler helped her to stand steadily and looked around. “What’s going on?”

Maria explained, “The one my… brother gave me on my birthday.”

“The fight happened in the jewelry shop under your corporation. You should be aware of it too.”

Vicky got chills on her body after hearing what Maria said. ‘Maria has prepared very well in setting this trap.‘
