Vicky walked over to Tyler and grabbed his arm while the others continued to look at her with angry eyes.

She sighed and said, “Honey, do you think this request is too much? If you hadn’t come any sooner, they would have really treated me like I’m a thief… What if they called a thief today and a robber tomorrow? Who knows if they will accuse me of being a murderer in the future?”

A thought seemed to pop into her head as she continued, “Honey, no matter how much we fight, it’s between the two of us and has nothing to do with them. But you’re the CEO of Hart Corporation, a powerful person…. And yet, your wife is being labeled as a criminal by some unrelated people… Tell me, are those people really your friend?
