Like she had expected, the bracelet…was really in her purse..

Vicky looked at the bracelet and told Tyler about what had happened. “After I left Missus Mills, I accidentally knocked over Maria. But I don’t remember her, so I wasn’t on high alert. After I went downstairs, she started

to cause trouble before I could find you.”

In other words, it all happened because she lost her memory. Since she did not remember, she did not know

who she should be aware of.

After listening to that, Tyler did not look surprised. He said, “That’s why there’s a reason why you don’t have any friends.”

Vicky’s eyes twinkled. “Cece told me I wasn’t close to her before I lost my memory. Is it…because of this?”

The last time Cece attended a dinner party with her, Cece got framed and was locked in jail for a pretty long time. This time she did not bring Cece together with her, and she became the victim herself.

Thinking back on all those news she was involved in after attending dinner parties in the past… She must have offended many people and made many people her enemies. Those who were close to her were often being dragged into many nonsenses.

In the beginning, she thought people disliked her because of Tyler. After what Missus Mills said, she started to think things were not as simple as she thought.

Tyler answered, “I think you are starting to know how annoying you are.”

Vicky looked at the bracelet in his hand and was more sincere. “No matter what, I still need to thank you for helping me.”
