Luna Aurora novel (Alpha Fenrir) novel Chapter 112

Chapter 112

The moon wolves did not lower their guard as their leader scrutinized Aurora. His silver hair gleamed under the faint light, and his tone was sharp. “I am Erya, Alpha of the moon wolves. You bring the stench of the Lycan King’s corruption to my land. Why should we trust you?”

Aurora stood firm, though her heart raced. “Because we don’t have a choice. He’ll destroy everything—including your pack—if we don’t stop him.”

Erya’s eyes narrowed. “Our history is one of survival. We do not entangle ourselves in the affairs of others. Isolation has kept us safe for centuries. Why should we risk our lives for yours?”

Cassian stepped forward, his golden gaze unyielding. “Because your isolation is an illusion. The Lycan King doesn’t care about borders or history. He’ll come for you whether you fight or hide.”

The wolves murmured among themselves, their glowing eyes shifting between Aurora and Cassian.

Erya raised a hand, silencing his pack. “And yet, you bring his corruption to our doorstep. Your very presence endangers us. You claim to have the power to stand against him—prove it.”

Aurora hesitated, her pulse quickening. “What do you mean?”

“The Pact you claim to hold,” Erya said, stepping closer. “If it truly resides within you, call upon it. Show us the strength you promise, or leave now.”

Cassian bristled, stepping protectively in front of Aurora. “She’s not a tool for your amusement.”
