Luna Aurora novel (Alpha Fenrir) novel Chapter 156

Chapter 156

The Lycan King’s advance was relentless. The shadow beasts returned with renewed fury, their dark forms pressing against the pack’s defenses like a tide. Wolves fell back, their lines buckling under the sheer force of the attack.

Cassian stood at the forefront, his blade cutting through the onslaught with deadly precision. His commands rang clear, rallying the pack as best he could. “Hold the line! Protect the camp at all costs!”

But it was clear they were outnumbered and outmatched.

Inside the infirmary, Aurora sat on the edge of the cot, her body trembling from exhaustion. Her wounds from childbirth were still fresh, and her connection to the Pact was fragile at best. Selene hovered over the newborn, her wards glowing brightly as she whispered protective incantations.

Aurora’s heart clenched as another wave of malevolence swept over her, stronger and closer than before. She couldn’t sit by any longer.

“I’m going out there,” she said, pushing herself to her feet.

Selene stepped in front of her, her expression stern. “You’re in no condition to fight. If you collapse, they’ll overrun us.”

Aurora’s eyes burned with determination. “If I don’t go, they’ll take her.”

Cassian burst into the room, his armor dented and his face smeared with blood. “Aurora, stay here. I’ll handle this.”

“No,” she said firmly, her voice cutting through the tension. “This isn’t just your fight. It’s mine too.”
