Luna Aurora novel (Alpha Fenrir) novel Chapter 164

Chapter 164

Aurora watched her daughter toddle across the clearing, her tiny hands reaching toward a butterfly that glowed faintly with celestial light. The child’s laughter rang out, lifting the spirits of the pack as they paused in their work to marvel at her.

“She’s special,” Selene said, standing beside Aurora. “But her connection to the Pact is… unpredictable. We must understand it before it becomes a danger.”

Aurora sighed, brushing a strand of silver hair from her face. “She’s just a child,” she said. “I won’t let the Pact define her life the way it’s tried to define mine.”

Cassian joined them, carrying a bundle of ancient scrolls. “We found something,” he said, spreading the scrolls on a flat rock. “These match the symbols you saw in your vision. They speak of a fractured past—of guardians who failed the Pact before us.”

Selene leaned in, her sharp eyes scanning the markings. “If these visions are tied to the Lycan King’s power, they could also reveal how he intends to return.”
