Luna Aurora novel (Alpha Fenrir) novel Chapter 184

Chapter 184

The pack’s communal area buzzed with activity as pups chased one another and older wolves worked to repair shelters. Elyra stood among the children, her small stature making her seem even more delicate compared to the boisterous young wolves darting around her.

Aurora watched from the sidelines, her heart heavy with anticipation. Cassian stood beside her, his arms crossed as he kept a careful eye on their daughter.

“She’ll be fine,” he said, sensing Aurora’s unease.

“I hope so,” Aurora replied, her gaze never leaving Elyra.

One of the pups approached Elyra, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Bet you can’t catch me!” he taunted, darting away.

Elyra’s face lit up with determination as she ran after him. The other pups joined in, laughing and weaving through the group. For a moment, Aurora’s tension eased—until a sudden flash of light erupted around Elyra, sending the pups scattering.

The laughter turned to startled cries as the children backed away, their eyes wide with fear. Elyra stood in the center, her hands glowing faintly as tears welled in her eyes.

“I’m sorry!” she cried, her voice breaking. “I didn’t mean to!”

Aurora rushed forward, gathering Elyra into her arms. “It’s okay, sweet girl. I know you didn’t mean it.”

“But they’re scared of me,” Elyra whispered, burying her face in Aurora’s shoulder.
