Luna Aurora novel (Alpha Fenrir) novel Chapter 188

Chapter 188

The journey to Fenrir’s territory was long and tense. Elyra rode with Aurora and Cassian, her wide silver eyes drinking in the unfamiliar landscapes. Despite her natural curiosity, she clung to Aurora’s arm, her unease growing as they approached the massive gates of Fenrir’s pack.

The gates opened to reveal a sprawling encampment, wolves bustling about in organized harmony. Banners bearing Fenrir’s crest fluttered in the wind, their deep blue hue a stark contrast to the earthy tones of the pack.

“Welcome,” a booming voice called out, and Fenrir stepped forward, his presence as commanding as Aurora remembered. His golden eyes swept over them, lingering on her.

“Aurora,” he said, his tone warm yet heavy with unspoken history. “It’s been too long.”

“Not long enough,” Cassian muttered under his breath, earning a sharp look from Fenrir.

“This must be Elyra,” Fenrir continued, his gaze softening as he looked at the child. Elyra shifted behind Aurora, her small hand gripping tightly.

“She’s not here to be paraded,” Cassian said, stepping protectively in front of his daughter.

Fenrir raised his hands in mock surrender. “Of course not. Let’s discuss things over dinner.”

The reception was lavish, the hall decorated with banners and ornate carvings. Elyra’s eyes darted around nervously as the wolves of Fenrir’s pack stared with open curiosity.
