Luna Aurora novel (Alpha Fenrir) novel Chapter 196

Chapter 196

The negotiation chamber was grand but suffocating. Aurora sat across from Fenrir at a long stone table, the tension between them palpable. Cassian stood to her right, his stance protective, his eyes never leaving Fenrir.

“Let’s get to the point,” Fenrir said smoothly, leaning back in his chair. “The union of our children is the most logical step. You know as well as I do that their bond would secure peace.”

Aurora folded her hands in front of her, her silver eyes piercing. “We’ve made our position clear, Fenrir. Elyra and Dain must be free to choose their own futures. Forcing them into this is not an option.”

Fenrir’s golden eyes narrowed. “This isn’t about forcing anything, Aurora. It’s about ensuring stability. Do you think our packs can afford the chaos that will come without a strong alliance?”

Cassian’s voice cut through the room like ice. “What chaos, Fenrir? Or should I say, what chaos are you planning to create if we don’t agree to your terms?”

Fenrir’s jaw tightened, but his expression remained calm. “You misjudge me, Cassian. My only concern is the well-being of our people. Surely you can see the wisdom in this.”
