Chapter 300

The fortress loomed like a wound in the landscape, its jagged spires cutting into the darkened sky. The air was thick with malice, and Elyra felt its oppressive weight settle over her as the carriage came to a stop.

They were dragged into the throne room, where the Lycan King sat upon a darkened dais, his presence as commanding as it was terrifying. His form was tall and lean, but his shadow seemed to stretch far beyond his body, enveloping the room.

Xytriana stepped forward, her voice reverent but smug. “My king, the Luna and her… companion.” She gestured to Jason, who stood silently beside her, his red eyes glowing with unrestrained fury.

The Lycan King’s gaze landed on Elyra, his dark eyes glittering with amusement. “So,” he drawled, his voice smooth and cold, “this is the little Luna who has caused so much trouble. You’re smaller than I imagined.”

Elyra’s silver hair shimmered faintly in defiance, and she raised her chin. “You’ll never win.”
