Luna Aurora novel (Alpha Fenrir) novel Chapter 340

Chapter 340

Elyra had been walking for hours through the dense forest, the air thick with the scent of moss and damp earth. The tension between her and Dain had only grown since their last encounter, and the weight of their divide was a constant burden on her heart. She knew she had to find a way to reach him, to pull him back from the brink of destruction, but every step felt like a battle against time. The prophecy loomed over them, and the shard pulsed within her, urging her toward an uncertain fate.

As the trees began to thin, Elyra stepped into a clearing bathed in soft moonlight. The light seemed to shimmer with an almost ethereal quality, casting long shadows across the ground. And there, standing in the center of the clearing, was a woman. Her presence was commanding, yet calm, a force of nature that Elyra couldn’t quite comprehend.

The woman’s hair shimmered silver, almost glowing in the moonlight, and her eyes—pale as the moon itself—locked onto Elyra’s with an intensity that made her feel exposed, as though the woman could see straight through her.

“Elyra Laurent,” the woman said, her voice both soothing and commanding. “I’ve been expecting you.”

Elyra took a step forward, her heart pounding. “Who are you?”

The woman’s lips curved into a faint smile. “I am Luna Selene, a sister of the moon. I have been watching the tides of fate shift, and I believe we can help each other.”

Elyra studied the woman carefully. There was something ancient about her, something otherworldly. She had heard whispers of Luna Selene—an elusive figure who was said to possess knowledge of both the light and the shadow, a rare and dangerous balance. If anyone could help her, it was this woman.

“Help me?” Elyra repeated, cautiously. “How?”

Selene’s gaze softened, but there was a weight behind her words. “The shadow you fear isn’t the true enemy, Elyra. It is the one who wields it. Dain… he is being manipulated, but there is more at play than you know. The Warden of Shadows is not just a force of darkness. He is a being who has been bound to this world for centuries, using the shadows to control and twist the minds of those he touches.”

Elyra’s breath caught in her throat. “The Warden,” she whispered. “I know him. I’ve seen his influence over Dain. But… I don’t understand. Why would Dain choose this path?”

Selene’s eyes darkened, and she stepped closer to Elyra. “The Warden preys on the weak, on those who have lost their way. He offers them power, promises of greatness, but at a price. Dain is not the only one to fall under his spell, though I fear he is the one who will suffer the most.”

Elyra’s mind raced. “So you think I can save him? That’s why you’re here? To help me reach him?”
