Chapter 14 Resign
In Amarilla City, no one dared to speak to Christian like that, let alone beat him.
Christian was shocked and unfamiliar with Anastasia's reaction.
After relieving the pain, Christian gradually stood up straight, but his face was still pale. His eyes were brooding with mixed feelings.
They both refused to budge.
Derek walked over from not far away and squeezed Anastasia's shoulder affectionately with a smile.
"What did you say?"
Anastasia smiled, and her voice was indifferent and lazy,
"Mr. Patterson doubts my ability to work, so I advise him to stop worrying."
"Be polite."
Derek's tone was doting, and he looked at Christian.
"Mr. Patterson, Anastasia is a talented student who graduated from a world-famous university. After graduation, she worked in a famous group with outstanding abilities. As the director, she deserves her name."
The moment the two men looked at each other, they seemed to be secretly contending.
Christian knew the famous group well.
But he frowned slightly after hearing about her university.
Why had he never heard of it?
When Anastasia's information was put in front of him, he didn't even look at it. To put it bluntly, he didn't want to waste time getting to know this person.
But her workability was outstanding and impeccable.
He habitually regarded her as a dispensable secretary and never wanted her to hold a more important position.
She solved countless difficulties for him in the group, but he didn't take it seriously.
After greeting, Derek took Anastasia away, and Christian did not stop him.
His eyes gradually became gloomy, and his forehead knotted in a frown, which showed he was unhappy.
And all of this was clearly seen by Beatrice.
Her face was pale, and she was jealous and unwilling.
They were divorced, but Anastasia was still seducing Christian. Why was she so shameless?
She must stop them from getting back together again!
Anastasia talked with someone on the second floor.
She held a glass of red wine and leaned gently against the railing with a bright and calm smile.
The director was just a starting point.
