Chapter 35 I Have No Objection
Anastasia was passionate in her love and decisive in her hatred.
She calmed down, sent the sample to the hospital, and then drove to Starlight Entertainment.
As soon as she got out of the car, she saw George in green floral pants and a yellow shirt standing at the door with a haggard face. He was blocked by the security guards at the entrance, behaving in an agitated manner.
He didn't wear lipstick, but he applied a thick layer of foundation. His face looked pale. Standing there with his hands on his waist, he cursed at the security guards with a sharp, hoarse voice that sounded like a duck being strangled.
"I've only been away for less than a day. How dare you stop me? Believe it or not, I'll fire every single one of you and drive you to beg for a living on the streets!"
The security guards stood there solemnly, and their words were cold.
"Please show your employee ID card. Outsiders are not allowed to enter."
George was burning with anger. He walked around with his hands on his waist, gnashing his teeth.
"You are just watchdogs. You dare to offend me. I..."
Before he finished speaking, the security guards there respectfully nodded behind him.
"Ms. Graves."
Anastasia nodded, and her voice was gentle.
"Good morning."
She walked in, ignoring George, but was stopped by him.
Dithering, he tried to flatter her, but his smile was stiff and artificial, and the wrinkles at the corners of his eyes showed when he smiled.
"Good morning, Ms. Graves. I've been especially waiting for you all morning."
Anastasia smiled casually and paused. Her bright and watery eyes were somewhat cold.
"Waiting for me? Why? Did the person you curry favor with not care about you?"
As George heard Anastasia being so straightforward, his face froze for a moment, and then he immediately resumed his flattering smile.
"A friend in need is a friend indeed. This industry is always about elevating and degrading others. The only one who can save me now is Starlight Entertainment. I've decided to come back. The company and I are inseparable!"
