“What? Do you have a child? Are you married? You certainly don’t look like you have had a child. The person exclaimed, looking Valeria up and down in surprise. 

Valeria did not mind sharing the fact that she had a child to prevent unwanted advances. “Yes, I’m married, and I have a child. But I’m divorced now, and my child is three years old.”
