Upon seeing her father’s unwavering belief, Elsie finally breathed a sigh of relief. 

Clayton patted his daughter’s shoulder and said. “Elsie, don’t worry. I’ll keep an eye on hirn. I’ll only give him what he wants when he’s wholeheartedly devoted to loving only you. Otherwise, he won’t get anything”

Hackett took off his suit jacket and began to unbutton his shirt from top to bottom, saying expressionlessly. “It’s already too late. Just do it.”
