Chapter 1264
Sonny recalled Jessica’s and his mom’s explanation, but he still could not fully understand the meaning of his mom’s words. He tilted his head and asked, “Dunc, are you married?”
“No, I don’t have a spouse, so I’m not married.”
“Why don’t you have a spouse?”
“Because I don’t have a woman I like.”
Sonny blinked and asked curiously, “You don’t like my mom? Also, my Aunt Ser and Aunt Elisa are very nice. Don’t you like them too?”
Duncan was speechless. 1
He said in amusement, “Your Aunt Ser is very nice, but she already has your Uncle Zack. I can’t like your Aunt Ser. Your Aunt Elisa is also very good, but I don’t like her that way. She’s not my type.
“As for your mom… I only think of her as my friend. I come over every day because Nike you.”
Sonny seemed to vaguely understand the part where Duncan said he liked him.
He asked instinctively, “Do you want to marry me?”
Duncan froze. “Sonny, we’re both boys, so we can’t get married. Although I don’t have a girlfriend yet, I’m a straight man and only like women.”
“But you said you liked me.”
“The way I like you is different from the way I like women.”
“Isn’t it the same? Why do you like me but not want to marry me?”
Duncan was speechless.
When faced with an innocent child who only had a hundred and one questions, Duncan found himself at a loss for words. He did not know how to explain it to Sonny.
“Sonny, you’re still small. Let’s discuss this when you’re older, okay? Come on, I’ll teach you how to piece the bricks.”
He changed the subject.
Duncan made a mental note to himself–be careful with what was said to Sonny so he would not trap himself like he just did.
“Sonny, come have breakfast.”
Serenity came over with a plate of pancakes and placed it on the counter, smiling, “Do you want me to feed you?”
“Go help your sister, Serenity. I’ll feed Sonny.”
“Sorry for the trouble, Mr. Lewis.”
“It’s no trouble as long as Sonny is willing to let me feed him.”
However, Sonny refused to be fed by Duncan and wanted to eat by himself.
His mom said that she would send him to preschool in September, and that he would have to eat by himself in preschool.
“Serenity, I’d like some pancakes too. I’ll sit here and eat with Sonny.”
Duncan saw that there were still many customers in the store, so he asked Serenity to make him a plate of pancakes for him to eat with Sonny.
“Coming right up.”
Serenity turned around and went to make pancakes for Duncan. The business in the breakfast diner was booming; even Mrs. York was helping out.

Finally we are here, thank you for progress in this story. Well done 👏 ✔ 👍 👌...
A big change is happening to the story now. 6 years had past. Looking forward on where this story revolves. Hoping the story will be as good as before. Now focusing on the younger brothers but hoping to include the older characters. Thanks writer and interpreter for maintaining and using the English names....

I feel like I betrayed this site caus I had to go to novel drama to continue this novel... They have the real thing there from chapter 182...
I'm seeing Vivian, bill, Julie, maria... Who are these ?...
Need English names, makes the whole story hard to follow....
Please go back to english names. Its been too long that we are reading this novel commitedly. Its like a torture to your loyal readers who can not focus on the story after living with the characters for so long. Please change your interpreter....
Please, please go back to original characters and stop with the repetitive pages. Furthermore the missing chapters from 4389-4412 are still missing. This stopping and starting is getting old. You going to lose all your readers...
Can you hire back the original interpreter or the ones who knows the original name? I think the current interpreter does not want to exert effort on studying the previous names. Please satisfy your readers. We have read the story for a long time. We are patronizing you for this long....
