Naya was trying on a wedding gown in the bridal shop. After receiving the call from Daniel's mother, she immediately drove back.

She was worried that Madeline would tell Daniel something negative about her. She did not want anything to go wrong at this crucial time.

Daniel asked Madeline to sit down, then asked the servant to bring them some tea and snacks.

“You're Ava's friend, Eveline.” Daniel looked at Madeline. It sounded as if he was confirming their relationship.

Madeline smiled slightly. “Dan, you're right. I'm Ava's friend, but I'm also your friend. We've always been good friends.”

Daniel pondered thoughtfully as if he was digesting the information Madeline had just given him.

“Do you have no memory of the past at all?” Daniell looked up and shook his head gently. “It seems that something is blocking the nerves to the part of my brain that’s associated with memory, so I can't remember anything about the past. I have to think hard about it, but it’ll cause my head to feel heavy.”

“Then don't think too hard,” Madeline suggested. “I know a doctor who’s a very authoritative neurologist. He’s very confident that he’ll be able to cure you after he heard about your situation. Whenever you’ re free, I can take you to see him.”

“Ava told me as well that she knew a very good neurologist...”

“It's the same doctor Ava mentioned. He's an authoritative figure in the field and also very skillful.” Madeline confirmed.
