Married to the Boss: A Love in Disguise Chapter 150

Lumma wasn’t good at keeping what she wanted to know to herself. So, she asked when the thing came to her mind, “You don’t have to go down the mountain tonight. Why do you take the risk?”

Adam wanted to say, “Because I can’t let you take risks alone.” But he couldn’t. He swallowed the words. “You know that I used to be a racing driver.”

“Thank you!” Lumma was so grateful that she didn’t know what else to say besides saying thank

you.

She looked back at Laura. Laura gave her a reassuring look. “Keeley is asleep. She will be fine.”

“Dr. Cohan, thank you!” When Keeley was in danger, Lumma immediately wanted to find Adam because she was sure that Laura would follow wherever Adam went.

Fortunately, Laura followed Adam tonight. Otherwise, it was hard to say whether Keeley could wake

up tonight.

The road down the mountain was too difficult, and it took twice as much time to go down the -mountain. Fortunately, Keeley was sent to the hospital safely.

Curettage surgery was not a major operation. Lumma, who had been busy all night, could take a rest during the operation, but she still insisted on waiting outside the operating room, unwilling to

leave.

She waited, and Adam waited with her.

It took them an hour.

After the operation, Keeley had to stay in the hospital for observation for one night.

Lumma rubbed Keeley’s head while Keeley was lying on the hospital bed and put on a drip. “Keeley,

Mr. Hills promised to help me let you escape from George. You can go to Red Pine City with us

tomorrow.”

After Keeley fell asleep, it was almost dawn.

Lumma walked out of the ward. Her firm eyes turned hollow and confused.

“Lumma, I have someone prepare food. You have been busy all night. Eat something before going

to bed…” Before Adam finished speaking, Lumma swayed and fell straight onto the ground.

Fortunately, he was right beside her and stretched out his long arms to pull her into his arms. “Lumma, are you okay?”

Laura was on the side and hurried forward. “Let the doctor examine her with an instrument first.”

Soon, the doctor gave Lumma a complete physical examination and found nothing wrong with her body. “She may be too tired…”

“Maybe?” before the doctor finished speaking, Adam interrupted coldly. His eyes under the silver-rimmed glasses were frighteningly gloomy. “Do you doctors rely on guesswork to treat

diseases?”
